Hope we get to see more of Larry (it’s "Mittleman", though. Isn’t it?)

Think there’s any chance that he’s a spy, too?

Larry Funkhouser is the character that Mittleman plays on Larry David’s "Curb Your Enthusiasm". He also used to be a stunt man known as "Super Dave Osborne".

A truly funny, funny man!

Super Dave rocked. I once gave a friend of mine a cheap knockoff Super Dave hat as a birthday gift. Simple white hat, red "SD" iron-on letters in the mittle.

Hmm, come to think of it, it’s been a long time since that friend called me.

I think Larry’s one of the best characters this show’s ever had. Too bad he got fired, maybe they’ll bring him back in some other capacity. He was hilarious when Buster was controlling him.

"Oh boy. Goody."

The scene where he got fired while looking into the mirror goes down as one of the funniest scenes in the history of the world... I laugh out loud for a good 5-25 minutes everytime I watch it.

Where is the surrogate going? I want to hear what he’s going to say, don’t leave. Classic

Surrogate: He’s worth every penny

George Sr.: I didn’t say that

I thought it was a really nice touch to have Larry at the fundraiser. Staying true to the concept of Surrogacy George Snr. is seemingly oblivious to Larry, and chats with Bill Kincaid. I love how they is not even a hint of awkwardness between them. Larry is a true professional

It is possible that George never actually met the surrogate, so therefore didn’t recognize him at the party, hence his obliviousness. (I know he looked at him in the mirror, but that was for what, 10 seconds?)

I think in one of the episdes (can’t remeber which one) George Snr sends the surrogate to a meeting in the living room of the penthouse while he is in the bedroom - he presumably met him then - maybe not I can’t remember.

I love the way at the fundraiser someone else (again can’t remeber who) was treating him with equal disrespect by sending him to the party just because he didn’t want to go.

(I think I really need to watch these episodes again as I can’t seem to remeber any details - any excuse!)

I thought that, but then remembered about firing him in the mirror.

There is maybe a slight grimace from George Snr. just before Larry(sorry, Bill) introduces himself.Maybe George recognised him, but decided to treat him like the ’idiot surrogate’ his is.

In George Snr’s world surrogates aren’t human. They’re just like a toy for the rich.A gadget.
