When Lindsay says, "Gob if I’m not looking for a partner but if I wasn’t it wouldn’t be you." She says this while it’s Gob and Michael in the room. Later in the finale, when looking for a partner in a different sense, she seeks out Michael. I don’t know this made sense too all ofus at midnight I need to sleep on it.

Rewatched this on DVD last night and was reminded of how bleeping funny it is.
It’s paydirt for GOB fans. Not only does it have all the hilarious bits noted previously (bees/beads, old Big Bear, etc.)
but also other GOB classics:
- "Macaroni . . . let me finish. . . salad," along with the rest of his completely nonresponsive dialogue with Kitty
- The brilliant monologue at the hospital starting with "I’m in charge now. I speak for this family" to "I’m sick of doing everything for this family."
- "Oh, that is just great. Now I’m expected to climb back on top of Kitty and do my thing again. I mean, this family runs into problems and it’s ’Oh, let’s have G.O.B. (bleep) our way out of it.’" Plus Lucille’s expression, of course.

Perhaps I am being entirely obtuse here, but is there a hidden joke or meaning to the "bees" theme throughout the episode?
I understand it is just funny, and I may be looking for too much meaning. The part I particularly don’t understand is why GOB is tackled by the guards in prison and Lucille says "They don’t allow you to have bees in here." Is this a reference to something else in the show (or something else in pop culture), or is it just isolated randomness?

Although, in all seriousness, I’m pretty sure it’s just isolated randomness. And a great joke about how stupid Gob is. I mean, come on! He thinks that bees would make a good gift! That one little idea alone just says so much about his character.

is it just me or does this never happen? i remember michael referring to lindsay as a "taker" in the one where they build a house, but nothing at all like that in this episode. the script search i ran backed up my claim. still i’m curious if it’s me that’s missing something.
