Quotes

Buster: Mom is becoming a little controlling.

Michael: What tipped you off? When she locked you out on the balcony again?

Buster: That was half my fault. I thought I saw a graham cracker out there.

Michael: You baited the balcony?

Lucille: Prove it.

Did anyone notice that the staging of the scene where Michael signs for the Corvette is identitical to the scene where GOB signs for the Seaward? A guy on each side, with one saying, "And sign again here..." or something smiliar.

I noticed that, not the first time round though.

just noticed for the first time that when GOB is in Lucille 2’s apartment, and as he says "that’s why all your stuff is sticking out," he looks down at her chest. HAHAHA!!!

seriously- has there even been another tv show whose writing was so brilliant? not only is it just flat-out funny, it’s almost mind-boggingly intricate at times. i’m still catching things watching an episode for, like, the sixth time. how is such creative brilliance even possible?

Oscar (Interrupting Lucille’s phone call): "I think we’re gonna need a new floating thermometer. And can I have your, uh, your Blue Cross number?"

Priceless

This episode is probably one of the weaker ones, but it’s still good.

About the Sinatra line : in the DVD, the english subtitles read "Everyboby thinks OF Frank Sinatra". I can’t tell if that’s accurate (though I’m inclined to think it must be) because she’s mumbling, but then, wouldn’t it be a reference to Liza Minelli’s rendition being overshadowed by Sinatra’s famous version.

This is a response to the question in comments #51-53 (whether Michael’s scene driving the red convertible is a reference to anything in the past).

I’m SHOCKED that there is no mention here of the obvious Teen Wolf Too reference! In Teen Wolf Too, Jason Bateman’s character has a long montage driving around town (too fast) in a red convertible with totally 80’s hair. It’s unintentionally hilarious because it follows immediately after another musical montage of his character’s sports training. There is about 4 minutes of nothing but cheesy montages.

While there is also a joke here in Queen for a Day that Michael looks like Lucille 2 (with the windbreaker, hair, red jacket, and "mole") the Teen Wolf Too reference is unmistakable!

AD — you’ve done it A-GAIN!

Also, next episode is the ’wolf’ episode. What does it mean for your weekend?
