Ha, excuse me Tederupterten but that’s a little off topic. Plus, you already started a very reputable and active thread on that particular subject. Welcome to the boards!

Narrator: But he did want a little bit of insurance.

Michael: Hey, G.O.B. Mom wants Franklin at the party. Yeah. What? No, no, no, I don’t want to talk... Hey, Franklin.

Call me crazy but I’m sure that the music during this scene is a very direct reference to Desperate Housewives (and to the overall use of Danny Elfman-esque music in TV shows today, from 6 Feet Under to Dead like Me ... none actually written by Elfman).

You can hear it again when Micheal tries to get Tobias and Kitty to go out on a date in Righteous Brothers.

Of course I may be completely wrong here, but there have been many Desperate Housewives references towards the end of season 2, and general references to other TV shows of the time ...

Anybody notice that this is the first time kids swear, and they both do it? And it doesn’t cause arouse?

And when Maeby said "Marry Me!" and that perv said "Okay". Hilarious.

there is also a gay reference when Mrs.featherbottom is helping set up lucilles wedding anniversary.

Lucille: Wheres the food?

Mrs.Featherbottom: Sorry, just stuffing the mushroom

Anybody notice that there are two Whedonites in this episode? Alan Tudyk (Wash in Firefly) and Simon Helburg (Moist in Dr. Horrible) guest star as Rev. Veal and the intern, respectively.

Does anyone know the song played when Lucille parties alone in her apartment when Buster moves out? The same song is used by Buster when he first drinks alcohol.

Thanks.
