Due to shoddy plumbing on the model home, Michael must call an inspector to check out the house. But when he asks George, Sr. to vacate the attic so that he won’t have to cover for him, G.O.B. steps in to help and all hell breaks loose. Meanwhile, George Michael helps Ann 2.0 stage a boycott of the American version of Dangerous Liaisons and they inadvertently turn the movie into a bigger hit for Maeby. And when Michael asks Tobias to keep an eye on Kitty, their relationship begins to bloom, much to Lindsay’s dismay.

Quotes

Michael: We’re brothers who shouldn’t be fighting. We cannot afford to lose each other, okay?

G.O.B.: I can’t. I already lost a brother today.

Michael: Franklin?

G.O.B.: Well, I didn’t lose him, but he’s all puckered and white.

Michael: On the plus side, you can take him to lunch at the club now.

G.O.B.: That’s the exact kind of joke he would have loved!

CONTEXT

Michael: Since you’re devastating people, go ahead and tell G.O.B. that I’ll be telling the cops that it was him in the truck. So he’ll be joining me here. I’ve got a nice hard cot with his name on it.

Lucille: You’d do that to your own brother?

Michael: I said “cot.”

One of my favorites. The true highlight for me is the final moment, when Oscar says "Why won’t it grow back?" *cut to end credits*.

Maybe it’s been mentionned before but here I go : When GM and Maeby discuss Les Cousins dangeureux, she just got out of the shower and she’s drying her hair.

Then we see the cover of the DVD on which the boy is spying on the girl while she brushes her hair in the bathroom.

I just joined today because I’m addicted to AD. I’ve lurked here for awhile, but decided to sign up to find a certain song in this episode.

It’s the spanish music piece that plays whenever Michael and GOB fight... anyone know what it is or where I can get it?

I’m sorry if it’s been discussed already, but there were so many pages and i got tired of reading thru censored text (Buster:"Ahhh, it’s tired in here"). Anyway, can someone please explain the last few scenes? First we see George Sr. breaking up the Righeous Fight, then he says he’s turning himself in, he walks into the courthouse, and we see gaurds running in after him. Then at the end of the episode, we see George Sr. meeting Oscar on the street, telling him to turn him in to get the reward, then shaving an unconscious Oscar in a bathroom before escaping thru the window.

Why wasn’t the real George arrested when he entered the courthouse? Did he knock out Oscar in the courthouse bathroom without being seen (which would be dangerous for a wanted man to go near there), shave him, then leave, break up the fight outside, enter the courthouse with gaurds tailing him, head for the bathroom and quickly out the window, leaving Oscar to the gaurds?

Taste the confusion, Michael!

As awesome a twist as it is, it doesn’t really make all that much sense when you first think about it. George Sr. must have knocked Oscar out, hid him in the bathroom, then broken up the fight, claimed he was turning himself in, then ran to the bathroom, switched clothes with Oscar and escaped. Probably broke in and out of the window several times to do it. I dunno. Anyone else able to come up with something better?

Musty Old Claptrap wrote:One of my favourite lines from the whole series that I never really hear people mention is in Righteous Brothers when GOB runs outside to check if George Sr has been crushed, and he says "Children you’re small, crawl under there." It’s just such classic GOB - first that he calls 15/16 year olds ’chidren’, then that he thinks they’d actually fit in that tiny space, and he doesn’t even consider that it’s dangerous and they might be hurt. So good.

I ALWAYS thought this was hilarious haha

Has anyone else notice the band-aids around Gob’s fingers in the beginning? Possibly referencing when Buster cut them off in a previous episode and the weird doctor switched the places of his fingers when he reattached them?

I swear I saw Michael Phelps in this episode. I swear it. Unless I’m crazy.
