Michael is back in charge of The Bluth Company and things appear to be on track. However, when Michael decides to take his son on a trip to the family cabin, his plan goes off course when he decides to track down George, Sr. and ends up in Reno. Meanwhile, Lindsay—along with George Michael and Maeby, who are still dealing with the aftermath of their awkward kiss—goes searching for Tobias and discovers he’s not blue without her. G.O.B. goes to an event hosted by a group that reunites abandoned sons with their fathers and gets a surprise of his own, while Lucille is up to her old tricks dealing with Buster.

The "definitely got a type" comes up again when buster wants a turtle b/c he says he likes the snappy leathery faces, and lucille walks in the door.

in the flashback where lucille is watching the news about the woman who kills her sons, she is unwrapping a cupcake. when she’s talking to michael she says "I went off the drugs but i don’t like what it did to me. I must have gained three pounds." it took me a while to get the connection between the cupcake and gaining the pounds.

anyway, it was fun.

I didn’t pick that up either. A year later and this show is still giving.

33 pages is much too much to actually check if this has been posted, so here I go, and sorry if you all know it already :

I’ve found a callback to Queen for a Day - when GOB gets the letter from S.A.D. you can see a shot of the letter, and hear his voice reading out loud "Father-son reunion ?" from the first paragraph of the letter.

If you read the second paragraph, it clearly states : "We wish to reconnect you with a son that you may or may not know you have in a non-judgemental, non-threatening environment. The S.A.D. center can provide a safe environment for this reunion where both the interests of fathers and sons are our first priority".

In Queen for a Day, all members of the Bluth family sold their share of the unfrozen stocks because none of them had read past the first paragraph of the letter they’d just received, that warned them not to sell in the second paragraph.

Micheal even has to show GOB the paragraph, which leads to him blurting that magnificent "I’ve made a huge tiny mistake".

Nice catch.

Another interesting catch... the whole "the Volvo/not a Vol-VO" moment, with the pictures passing from hands to hands. If you follow their movements carefully, you’ll notice that the last photo that Lindsay holds in her hands, and which she describes as "too boxy" is... eh... not the vol-VO !! Don’t know if it’s meant to be.
