Quotes

Lindsay: How do you think I feel? Bob Loblaw’s a handsome, professional man and I’m only used to... well, none of those things.

Tobias: Okay, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over— an analyst and a therapist. The world’s first analrapist.

No, they’re back to normal now. Keep in mind two months passed between The Cabin Show and Righteous Brothers, and given how shallow Gob is, he’d have obviously wanted to have them switched back as soon as possible. I guess he did it between those episodes.

Hey, I hate to be a lame here, but come somebody explain to me why Gob would’ve needed to give Lucille a roofie? It’s totally flying over my head. Or maybe I’m in denial.

#374 Beamer wrote on October 30, 2005:

Like Buster’s long string of swearing from Bringing Up Buster, or 90% of what Gob does in any episode, the reason why Gob would’ve given Lucille a roofie in the past seems best left unknown. The mystery around it is what makes it funny.

So I just rewatched this episode for the first time since it premiered on Fox.

Would you guys (and gals) say that its fair to say that George Michael totally got the wrong impression when he sees Steve on the bed and Maeby says "I gave him a roofie"

after this GM says something like, "you drugged him and then had your way with him, how is that even possible" so that statement either completely proves or disproves my theory up there.

Maybe im just weird.

#376 murphmanstudios wrote on January 06, 2006:

I figured he said that because why would the GIRL have to give the guy a roofie?

#377 Chelpo wrote on January 06, 2006:

Nope, GM definitely got the wrong impression. And that is the quote that proves it.

#378 kid_17 wrote on January 06, 2006:

Well what I figured was that George Michael did not realize at first what a "roofie" was

#379 Beamer wrote on January 06, 2006:

George Michael knew what a roofie was, he just didn’t want to tell Maeby... That’s her father’s job.

No, seriously, look at the quote:

"Now you’ve drugged him and had your way with him... How is that even possible?"

He said "How is that even possible" after saying she had his way with him. He was asking how a female could possibly do it with an unconscious male - we all know it’s possible the other way around, with date rape and all, but a girl simply couldn’t have intercourse with an unconcscious male. Perhaps if he had, umm.... "a thing in his pants," then maybe, but it would still be really difficult. So, that’s why George Michael was wondering how it was even possible. He’s not as innocent as he was in Season 1, you know.

The line "I was always hoping he’d be gifted sexually." said by George Michael had me in stitches. And the ending is one of the best moments in A.D. history.

I was watching this episode again, love the moment when Tobias smacks Michael on the ass saying "you’re terrible" and Michael turning around saying "okay". I love that moment
