George Michael: No, I’m not afraid of sex...

Tobias: Oh, good. Have sex with this girl right now. Do it, go. Get in there. Have some sex with her right now. I didn’t think so. Ann, you need to decide whether you want a man or a boy. I know how I’d answer.

alsooo...loved tony hale in the f** bit...although, i’ve never heard the word p**** used in that sense before (the ’british’ sense they refer to, as in a pussy cat. i live in the uk, so it just seemed a bit odd to me). plus rita’s accent is a bit dodgy, but i love her character.

He was about to say her body’s shaped like a bell, then tried to cover it up by saying "She’s the belle of the ball!"

Yeah, Rita’s accent was all over the place, but it was definitely better in her later episodes than her earlier ones. It was horrible in For British Eyes Only, but by the time The Ocean Walker comes, it’s actually pretty passable.

BUMP.

Apologies for the double-post, but the episode just aired in Australia, and I wanted to be the first to confirm: In this episode’s credits, rather than the traditional tune (which has been used in every other Season 3 episode so far), the music featured is BALLS IN THE AIR!!! :D

Now, it’s not the full version, obviously, however, I’m pretty sure it contained an alternate verse which wasn’t heard in the episode. Unfortunately, I wasn’t recording it, so I can’t go back and check, but still, another thing to get excited about for the upcoming Season 3 DVD release. :)

Yeah, at some point they started using the main original song for the episode for the closing credits, which I liked. Especially when it was the "Hot Cops, Hot *sizzling sound* Hot Cops..." song.

I cut the audio of the Balls in the Air credit music from my digital TV recording and uploaded it to my webspace (1mB): http://members.optusnet.com.au/wired_ma ... he_Air.mp2 (right click, save target as)

and to Putfile for prosperity: http://media.putfile.com/Arrested-Devel ... in-the-Air

(I had to rename it to a .mpg from a .mp2 for putfile to accept the upload)

It’s a plain mpeg2 audio (256kbitss) file (as is transmitted) and should play with any media player.

Keep those balls in the air!

Wired, thank you so much. I could kiss you on the nuts! :)

On an unrelated note, I was reading the early spoilers for this episode - "Lucille and Buster visit a family friend named Janet in the hope to recruit Janet’s son in the Armed Services." Whatever happened with that?! Also, I noticed that quite a few Season 3 episodes went through name changes in their early stages - The British Bombshell become For British Eyes Only, Roofies-A became Forget-Me-Now, Lesson became Making a Stand... you can see how all those titles apply to the episodes. But I can’t for the life of me figure out how this episode’s original title, Fai, applies to it at all. Any ideas? Think it has something to do with the dropped storyline I mentioned earlier?

(s3 e4)Im not sure if its been already covered but today upon my 2nd viewing I just noticed that at the fair there are two enterences for the same tent, above one of them writes "god welcomes you" or smth like that (could be church welcomes you aswell) and above the other it says "join the army be a man" GM chooses the 2nd one and theres this other guy who chooses the church sponsored one but then we realize both of the enterences lead to the same place, ARMY!!!! I think thats brilliant!

#132 Quence wrote on October 22, 2006:

Wow, I just tonight realized that when Rita walks out and sees Michael at the fair, she walks out of the men’s room, and a guy behind her does a double take.

It’s amazing that after all this time there’s still new jokes to discover.

When Michael, Buster, and GM are all by the monkey bars, michael pulls Buster’s hook off at the beginning, but at the end the hook is back on buster’s arm.

Is it an obvious one ? Am I just slow ?

When almost every member of the family starts breaking things at the beginning, and Michael has to clean up after them... and then Gob walks in and grabs the broom and says "Michael ! Let me take care of that.", he then proceeds to just throw the broom away in the next room...

If you listen -and look- carefully you can hear a light bulb breaking, and there’s even a slight change in the light coming from the door. So Gob also breaks something (a lamp ?) after offering his help.
