A teddy is a piece of slinky women’s lingerie, which is what Michael thought she meant. But she meant her tiny teddy bear. Guffaws for all. |
Ah... that makes more sense.

| I know what it is, Trevor, I’ve seen your secret magazine. I want to have grown-up fun. Spoon and figgy pudding. Rabbitown dum druggary’s hollow. And I want to have pop-pop. |
I don’t get the middle part. Translation, anyone?

| I still don’t know why Michael didn’t marry Rita. sure, she was retarded, but they loved each other. she just left for no reason. we were never really told why she had to go back to Big Britain. |
She had to go back to Britain because Michael called the bobbies on her at the end of "Mr. F."

She could have stayed in Orange County if she had married Michael because she would have gotten a green card.
I thought Michael didn’t marry Rita because as Trevor said, she was incapable of making such a commitment as she had the mental age of a small child.
More prosaically they didn’t get married because they probably couldn’t afford Charlize Theron for thirteen episodes and because main characters don’t get to be happy and settled until the very end of the show and only then if they are lucky.
