Quotes

George Michael: OCD? No, I’m just cleaning up after Aunt Lindsay. She never turns things off.

Michael: Well... Guess that explains why I saw the hedge trimmer zipping around the drive way. I did it again, didn’t I? I’m so self-centered. From now on, I want you to just tell me what’s on your mind, okay? And I promise I won’t just hear what I want to hear.

George Michael: I love my cousin.

Michael: Love you, too, pal.

Tobias: You know, Michael, if I may take off my acting pants for a moment and pull my analrapist stocking over my head, George Michael has been acting strange lately. I think he may have developed what we in the soft sciences refer to obsessive-compulsive disorder. Or the O.C. disorder.

Michael: Don’t call it that.

Yeah, cause this episode didn’t really coincide with Making a Stand or Fakin’ It. It wasn’t a part of any running story arc.

It DID mark the announcement that Bob Loblaw was no longer their lawyer, however - something necessary for Fakin’ It’s storyline. Also, this episode can’t air after Exit Strategy since
George Sr. is still under house arrest in it, and Maeby still has her job in it
. It aired in the right place, the future guest stars (who were just 2 of the several guest stars shown, by the way) were exactly that - future guest stars.

Another new credit tune, this time "New Daddy" that you hear from Tobias’ music player when he talks to Maybe.

I’ve uploaded it to my webspace here (1.07mB): http://members.optusnet.com.au/wired_ma ... _Daddy.mp2 (right click > Save Link As)

Channel 7 also aired the episode preview spoof right at the start of the show, that I didn’t see on the torrent I downloaded long ago.

I really love the bit in the boardroom at the start of the episode where GOB flamboyantly acts out being a waiter, cracks me up :D.

Also, there is a flash back to the Buster/Lindsay scene in "Fakin It," where Buster tells Lindsay that if anything should ever happen to him he wants to make sure that no one lets him die. While this scene plays, it says "Several Weeks Earlier" at the bottom of the screen.

Yeah, that torrent was kinda bad. Not only did they leave out that intro (which helps explain jokes like the old lady’s death, the live ending, the guest stars, etc.) but the whole visual effect of the live ending was kinda lost with the framerate... Loved seeing it on Channel 7. I cracked up at the credits, when Andy Richter’s name appears 5 times in one screen.

DAMMIT I missed it.

Can someone explain a joke in this ep?

I don’t get why Andy goes to the party, but says that he’s Emmit. It’s obviously meant to be Andy...the hair gives that away, plus Emmit can’t be shown, as Ron reminds us. So why does Andy pretend not to be himself???

Sorry if this was already explained/mentioned...there are way too many pages for me to rummage through.

my guess is that he saw what was being served as "dinner" and decided he didn’t want to be there.
