Hee! I wish they would. You know, the pictures and signs that mrs.michaelbluth sent in are really cute. Today I went out and bought a bunch of stickers that are relevant in various ways to things that have appeared on AD at different times, and I'm going to stick them onto the cellophane wrap that will go on the the outside of the gift basket. When I get the gift basket made up and apply the stickers, I'll take pictures of everything and post them to the website with little explanations (not that you'll need those). Unfortunately, I couldn't find a sticker of a staircar (found a bulldozer, though!) or of an ice cream sandwich. Found (among other things) bees, Pooh bear with a honey jar, a golden retriever, Army figures, seals - the list goes on. I'm doing the time of my life! I also have some great banana stickers that maebynot sent in.

Well, yesterday I exchanged e-mail with a reliable source (she said I can call her "DeepHolt" - hee) who spoke to Mitch, and she said a couple of interesting things:

1) Mitch said, regarding whether our SaveOurBluths campaign affected FOX's decision to renew Arrested Development for a third season, that "there's no doubt it had a big impact."

2) FOX definitely confirms that Arrested Development will be back on November 7th - possibly with two episodes.

So, feel good about what we accomplished this spring!

That sounds like great news. Any hint as to what can be done now?

Great news, Kiarnit! Glad to know the campaign helped.
Yeah, like anyone would want to "R" her.

She didn't pass anything specific along in her e-mail, but there will be an article coming out, probably next week. I think writing letters to FOX on your own in support of the show now is great, and I think you should be prepared to break out pens and paper for another coordinated letter-writing campaign in case we get another clear-cut sign of potential cancellation like last year's episode order reduction. If that happens, we're definitely going to need to hit 'em again like we did last year, and in that scenario we should probably be prepared to mount a Hail-Mary campaign to other networks to pick up the show if the worst happens and cancellation does occur.

So, for now, write your own letters to FOX and advertisers in support of the show, I would say. (And buy DVDs!)

Michael: Who’s Steve Holt?
Maeby: He’s just the hottest guy in school. And he’s won three years in a row.
Michael: So then, he’s more popular than George Michael?
Maeby: Well, that’s like comparing apples and some fruit nobody’s ever heard of.
