Cannonballism, I think it would be best to e-mail me a week or two after you send your letter(s) and ask me, and then I'll respond. I'll keep a log of everything I receive, but (if the number of e-mails I've sent out today is any indication) I will have too many balls in the air to notify every person who sends me a submission when their letter is received. But if you specifically e-mail about it, I'll be happy to reply to you. Thanks!

who should the letters be addressed to? Meaning, when I say 'Dear whoever' who should that whoever be? Is it still just Gail or whoever?

Also, I know I emailed this info, but I'll do it on the boards too, just so others can get to know me.

1) Ex... or Erin
2) Minneapolis, MN
3) I'm pretty good at Photoshop
4) anything, within reason (letter writing, posting flyers, making graphics, etc...)
5) sure, if there isn't much roaming involved
I was made to understand there were grilled cheese sandwiches here.

Yes, saying "Dear Gail Berman" is just fine. When I get the form up, it should take care of that problem for you. However, even though your salutation says "Dear Gail," please still send the letters to my P.O. box. Thanks!

local demonstrations in advance of the March 6th episodes

Postby Kiarnit » February 16th, 2005, 11:45 am

I really want to encourage everyone who is so inclined to put together creative local demonstrations in advance of the March 6th AD episodes. Major props to Gobby in NYC for the MTV-TRL taping plans.

Thing is, these demonstrations have to be organized LOCALLY. We have had lots and lots of good ideas for publicity stunts posted on the boards by passionate fans. What we need are leaders to step forward and organize people in their areas to put some of these plans into action.

If you are interested in putting something together (even if it's only a demonstration of 3 or 4 people) in your area, e-mail me at kiarnit@saveourbluths.com. I can help put you in touch with other volunteers and provide logistical assistance. Deciding what activity you want to do, picking a location, and getting your volunteers there on the appointed date and time will be up to you.

I've put out a call to our volunteers with Photoshop skills to make up some B&W flyers for recruiting more volunteers. Hopefully this will help you find volunteers located where you actually live. When I start getting these flyers in, I will post them to the site.

I also want to hear any ideas you have on how to publicize these publicity stunts to the local media. Please post or e-mail your thoughts; I'll collect information and post back to the board.

Thanks!

2) Salisbury, NC (kind of around the Charlotte area)
3) Photoshop
4) I can make graphics, try to pull off a little guerrila theatre type thing (if people around here would help with something of the sort), write letters, post flyers.
5) I could, if no one else is able to.
