FOX REDUCING AD EPISODE ORDER

Plan, talk, or peer into the crystal ball

Question: Wouldn't phone calls to Fox execs be more productive if they made them laugh instead of angry? I know if I received countless annoying phone calls, I'd be more inclined to look for ways to cut out the source so that the annoyance eventually goes away. Put some wit and thought into it, and I think you'll help the cause. I believe that these are people who want to be convinced to keep AD on the air.

Some suggestions:

If sending bananas (real or fake), include the message: "Don't be a banana-grabber. Save Arrested Development." Note: The fake bananas also remind me of the fake food circulating around the Bluth house.

Also, put smears of blue paint on the envelopes, letters, bananas, etc.

I like the idea of refrigerator magnets with a note requesting they save A.D. - just like the notes George Michael always leaves. The magnets could have pass-around value.

I guess sending big yellow joints might send the wrong message.

How about sending fake eyebrows, with the message: "Cancelling Arrested Development doesn't Sitwell with us."

I wonder when TV Gal and Matt Rousch are gonna go nuts on articles about the injustice that this is. You just know they are.

There is also a pretty big thread about this on the Aint It Cool News page which mostly focuses on Sci Fi related shows but they have huge love and respect for AD...

I like those slogans and ideas! I may use some of them on my postcards when I make them tonight!

You are right, we need to make them laugh, to show that we have a sense of humor and aren't just a bunch of grumpy gusses.

Edit: Gleebo, TV Guide is already starting to get pretty mad... we'll have to see how individual writers respond, but on their news page today, they had an article, which I posted in another thread:

Fox is definitely making a 'huge mistake' if they cancel 'AD.'
Thank God they have my brands here!

So this is how you repay me for how I repay you?
