The Album and Top 3

Hear anything good at the Wellness Convention?

Postby vcalzone » May 1st, 2006, 11:06 am

I was actually trying to decide whether to include The Loved Ones or You Little Fool, but... ARGH! How can you not include Beyond Belief? That song MAKES the album. Can you imagine listening to Imperial Bedroom without that song as the opener?

Anyway... Here's one we'll hopefully agree on.
Elvis Costello
Armed Forces

3. Accidents Will Happen
2. Oliver's Army
1. What's So Funny Bout Peace Love and Understanding?

You are way off. It's...

:D

I can't argue with those choices, though I do love "Green Shirt" and "Two Little Hitlers." When I saw E.C. and Nick Lowe perform WSFBPL&U live in Newcastle in '89... well that's as good as it gets. As for "Beyond Belief" - not a bad song (though I have an E.C. fan friend that absolutely hates it), but I think there are stronger tracks on the album. But yes, I can't imagine the album starting any other way.

Let's keep it going:

Elvis Costello
This Year's Model

3. (I Don't Want to go to) Chelsea
2. Pump It Up
1. No Action

Man, this isn't an easy one, either.

Here's an easier one:

Mike Oldfield
Tubular Bells

3. There is no third track
2. Tubular Bells, Part 2
1. Tubular Bells, Part 1
