Play that funky music

Now I've gone onto a few forums around the web, and posted this question, but failed to get a response. Perhaps you can help me. You know that song that plays towards the end of the Pilot where Michael tells George Michael that he'll have to sleep with his cousin, and the funky music plays for about two seconds before commercial break? Well, I was wondering if anyone had any info as to the name of the song, who does it, or anything like that.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words- "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
