I was watching my DVD's, and in SI, Lindsay goes into the boardroom, and for a moment you can see the boom mike over her head.

Do you think this was on purpose? Or maybe it wasn't, but they decided to leave it in, anyway?

Or am I mistaken? I paused a few times, so I'm pretty sure, but could be mixing it up with some sort of strange ceiling structure.

I didn't see it, but it sounds like a mistake. I think I remember seeing a boom mike when they introduce the staircar. Funny, it's also Right when Lindsay comes out. Maybe the boom operator is paying more attention to Lindsay then keeping the mike out of the way!

Not to change the subject, but the site gag of Buster's photographs in this episode is possibly the best ever.

Not far behind is Buster hanging from the construction site or driving the bulldozer. Or Gob on the Segway on the consturction site.

Gosh this was a good episode.

As far as the title meaning goes, "staff" could also refer to the staff a shepherd uses - Church of the Good Shepherd; the sheep employees.

i noticed that the bluth company employee that's always tagging along late (when they leave for lunch, et cetera) is wearing a black shirt. would that make him the black sheep?

i love how buster's reaction to the sheep is the same as his mother's reaction to the curler-lady.

Just to correct you, it's "Boom MIC" not, "Boom MIKE". Mike is a persons name. Mic is short for "Microphone".

Anywho. There have been lots of boom enterances in the first season. In one episode (can't remember which one), you actually see a camera-man step into shot.

I noticed a really quick boom shot when Gob was performing his "Real needle, Real neck" trick in Storming The Castle.
We may pick on each other, get into little scrapes, call each other names and occasionally steal from each other, but that’s because we're family.

I love the throw-away lines in this show...

When the "electric company" grabs the supposed evidence file, a lamp falls out and one of the guys says "I told you find a stud! Go!"

C-lassic

Besides that, probably one of the best shows with a running gag (the whole sheep/shepherd thing) although... who can pick a favorite these days?

The part of this episode that I quote the most is Maeby's "He has father, father no love him!" to Annyong about George Michael. I say that all the time. I especially like how George Michael is like, "He love me...loves me!"
Surely Fünke, rolling 4 treasurer. I would run 4 it, but I can’t.

wow, I had totally forgotten about annyong, I dont really remember them explaining why he was no longer on the show, just seems like he dissapeared.
G.O.B.: And guess what else? Dad kissed me.
Michael: How? He looked pretty unconscious in that picture.
G.O.B.: I didn’t say he was totally into it.

Buster and Gob are so funny at the worksite. It's classic.
