Why, Tracy? Why?

Postby Kids Love Franklin! » April 24th, 2005, 3:50 pm

I say that it was definitely George Sr. The whole "he just came out of nowhere" comment seems to solidify that. If it was someone known like Laroquette, they would have said something. It just makes so much sense, "always in character" ... and it's a nice little teaser for the "next season."

And anyone who still thinks otherwise should be dragged out into the streets and maimed.
Maybe you could start jeté-ing, and stop je-terrorizing me.

I was still slightly unsure until you pointed that out. Good eye.

Am I the only one who hopes that GM and Maeby will start getting serious in spite of their current relationship?

No, you are definitely not the only one. I think they make a darling couple, and having them sneaking around behind the backs of the oblivious, self-centered adults would, in my opinion, set the stage for comedy gold. It could even make for a really good use of Ann, wherein GM pretends to keep dating her just in order to deflect suspicion - but no one notices that she's never actually around.

Oh, I think you've misunderestamated him
It is believed that AIDS was originally contracted from the monkeys, no not the band, but the animal. And we just wanted to deal with that issue. Just changing the attitude from 'eww AIDSy' to make it like 'ahh fun monkey disease'

Ha Ha Ha, well anythings possible, but I can tell that their top priority will be to hide it from their Parents.

Ok, first: Great Episode. Loved the GM/Maybe kiss, loved the Franklin CD goodness, loved Tobias/Kitty, loved the final fight and end - loved it all. Although I hope it isn't the case, this episode defiantly wraooed things up in case the show gets cancelled.

Put me in the group that believes George, Sr. is the new Blue Man - they (in character) dont tell people their names (and are actually completlely silent).

On a side note, there is a non-intentional AD reference in the new "Family Guy" episode (airs May 1st) [please, dont ask me where I saw it] -
Peter gives a film canaster to Mel Gibson, supposedly containing The Passion of the Christ 2. When Lois asks him why he just gave the film back, he tells her, basically, "Don't worry, I put a dog turd in there. But by the time he finds out, we'll be long gone". Immediatly after saying that, Mel Gibson finds out - with Peter and Lois still in the room.
I just thought how similar that was to the Gob-cooler joke that I just had to point it out. Uncannily similar.

Anyhow; let me just say - if Arrested Development is cancelled, I will be more than disapinted. I may never watch Fox again. I've talked to so many other Occidental students who agree - this show is brilliant. Brilliant writing, acting, editing - everything. Heck, even my psycologist agreed when I brought it up!

I don't think It wrapped things up. We still have to deal with Oscar being in jail, GM and Maeby's future relatonship (it got alot more complicated), and Tobias might run back to Lindsay now that he doesn't have a job.

Speaking of which is Tobias still a never-nude?

and I forget, who was Steve Holt's father? I think it was Buster but I'm not sure. I only mention this because someone said Maeby only kissed her cousins.

GOB is Steve Holt's father. We saw this in an "on the next Arrested Development" segment where Steve Holt was talking to a private investigator who showed him a picture of GOB; Steve Holt's question was whether that was what was going to happen to his hair.

We found out he still is a never nude when he was filming the male version of "Girls with Low Self Esteem" in an earler episode.

I believe from Beef Consomme (when he has sex with Lindsay and quietly overcompensates) all the way through Sad Sack (when the whole world sees his balls).
