Ok, first: Great Episode. Loved the GM/Maybe kiss, loved the Franklin CD goodness, loved Tobias/Kitty, loved the final fight and end - loved it all. Although I hope it isn't the case, this episode defiantly wraooed things up in case the show gets cancelled.
Put me in the group that believes George, Sr. is the new Blue Man - they (in character) dont tell people their names (and are actually completlely silent).
On a side note, there is a non-intentional AD reference in the new "Family Guy" episode (airs May 1st) [please, dont ask me where I saw it] -
Peter gives a film canaster to Mel Gibson, supposedly containing The Passion of the Christ 2. When Lois asks him why he just gave the film back, he tells her, basically, "Don't worry, I put a dog turd in there. But by the time he finds out, we'll be long gone". Immediatly after saying that, Mel Gibson finds out - with Peter and Lois still in the room.
I just thought how similar that was to the Gob-cooler joke that I just had to point it out. Uncannily similar.
Anyhow; let me just say - if Arrested Development is cancelled, I will be more than disapinted. I may never watch Fox again. I've talked to so many other Occidental students who agree - this show is brilliant. Brilliant writing, acting, editing - everything. Heck, even my psycologist agreed when I brought it up!
