The final countdown?

I think that may have been another reference to James Bond.

That was a trick used at the end of the early Bond films, saying Bond will return, then using the title of his next movie. And now it appears Forget me Now is the title of the next episode, which fits the satire.

It was a James Bond reference, to go with the whole British spy motif of the episode.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Every film, except Dr. No (1962), has the line: "James Bond will return. . ." or "James Bond will be back" during or after the final credits. Up until Octopussy (1983) the end-credit line would also name the next title in the film series ("James Bond will return in...").
It was a love between two cousins that the world thought was wrong, but it was the world that was wrong.

Any chance there's a video clip with next week's preview out there somewhere? I've been telling people Michael's Bob Loblaw nonsense line all week and they love it. I actually convinced a friend to watch on monday on the strength of that one joke. I'd love to be able to show it to them, though. I have this week's episode on TiVo but the recording ends right in the middle of that sentence :(

I "borrowed" the episode from the net, and there was no "on the next arrested development". When was that line spoken?

There was a FOX ad for the next AD that aired during the closing credits, which shows the now famous Bob Loblaw line at the end.

Well gosh darn it - I missed it! What was the line? <heads to transcript to see if he can get lucky>

The line was said by Michael, after Lindsay made a pass at Bob. He said "We're not here to talk nonsense in front of Bob Loblow" If you remember what Bob Loblow's name sounds like, and put it in context, it's even funnier.

Well, the new clip is up! Yay! Though I hope that bit at the end isn't part of the episode or at least isn't as intrusive as it seems.

First of all, thanks for the link, vcalzone. I'm pretty sure the bit at the end is not going to be part of the episode, since all of those clips end in that bit. But, I'm not sure if I really like Narrator saying "That's the name of the show!" What do you guys think of that? Is narrator losing his touch? I did like the rest of the clip, though. Pretty funny.

No, the narrator part is what I meant. That takes you so far out of the episode it isn't funny. Though maybe the joke is just that hearing the phrase arrested development on the show Arrested Development is weird, even though the concept predates the show.

D'oh. I thought you might have been talking about the Narrator part. I didn't like the Narrator part at all. I agree that it takes you so far out of the episode. I'm wondering what they're going to show after Narrator says that.

'Hey, that's the name of the show!'. That's hilarious. 'Arrested Development' is suppose to be a documentary of sorts so the line feels right in a way.

It's hard to tell but the the jokes in the clip are coming at a slower pace than what we've had the last two weeks which would be nice. The absurdist comedy is fun but it gets a bit exhausting.

I thought the show line was excellent. I liked the clip, but then again I liked the second episode. I have a feeling people are either going to hate the 5 episode run or love it.
