Im a jason Bateman FANATIC. I love him as PEPPER in dodgeball and I love him in the sweetest thing. There is a part where he looks at the grandpa at the golfing range and smiles and i just melt!, beard or not he is a total hottie. I feel like a High school girl with a crush! I will do anything to keep seeing him every sunday night! My husband even makes fun of my crush. I wont even let him talk if Jason is on TV![/quote]

I am so very addicted to Jason. Me and my friend have been tracking down all we can of him. I rented Dodgeball and we re-watched all the Pepper parts.

Really, I first saw him in Starsky & Hutch. I remember going "I like that guy" even then (and even with that horrible bathing suit)

And him being a smartass in interviews is awesome too. I much prefer someone who can make fun than a pompous fool *cough*James Lipton*cough*.

And those Esquire pics were smokin' hawt.

My first intro to Jason: Arrested Devlopment. I just decided to keep watching after Malcolm in the middle, and this show comes on. The second I saw Michael, I was like "WHO is THAT?" I now own Arrested Development Season one, Teen Wolf 2, The Sweetest Thing, Love Stinks, Starsky and Hutch and Dodgeball.

I was somewhat of a Silver Spoons fan, and the episodes with Derek (Jason Bateman) were always the best. But I was a huge fan of "It's Your Move." That was the perfect show for him - a smart-alec kid who's met his match in an equally conniving neighbor. I was shocked when it wasn't renewed after just one season. It was cancelled so fast, you would've thought Fox had a hand in it - except the Fox network was still a few years away. Never watched any of his stuff after that (OK, I saw "Teen Wolf, Too" - but I saw the first movie and had to see what happened next), but I knew he hit paydirt when I heard about Arrested Development. Perfect casting.

I just rented "Moving Target," a hokey made-for-tv which turned out to be surprisingly full of Bateman goodness!

I highly recommend it to anyone obsessed enough to read this thread, because although his hair is awfully '80s, he is periodically shirtless.

Also, did anyone else notice that in some of the looped dialogue for Teen Wolf, Too, Jason Bateman's voice was much raspier? It sounded like he started smoking between filming and postproduction.

First time I saw Jason was when I went see Dodgeball in the movies...He was hilarious and so when I got home I read some stuff about Dodgeball and they were talking about the cameos of Jason Bateman and Gary Cole and I'm like THAT was jason bateman (i had heard that name before but I never really knew who he was) then I found out he was on AD and I remembered seeing a commercial for AD and how it looked funny....after that I started to really get into AD and I saw that the first season was already over...so I watched the FX marathon, loved the show, bought S1 DVD and I have been in love with Jason and AD ever since....so if you are all looking for a way to get people watching--Jason is a good ad lol

Hey, i know this is off the subject..but did any of you know that Jason's character in Dodgeball, Pepper, was not even supposed to be funny, but Jason came up with all that... omg this dude frikin rocks!! and he's GORGEOUS!! could he get any better??! I'm seriously in love with him!! lol oh and how do you put an avatar or whatever you call it on the side of your post??

To post an avatar, click on the profile button on the top of the screen (by FAQ, Search, etc.). Scroll down to Avatar Control Panel. You can choose one from the gallery, or link one from another site (for example, if you host images on photobucket, imageshack, etc.). If you get one from the gallery, select the little circle of the avatar you want and click "Select Avatar", and then Submit.
