Is this new or just more wordplay? The quotes seem new

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/a90700/bateman-confirms-arrested-film.html

----------

Jason Bateman has revealed that work has started on an Arrested Development film, reports MTV.

The Juno star admitted the film went on the back-burner during the WGA strike but work will now resume with creator Mitch Hurwitz and producer Ron Howard involved.

"Well, the ball has started rolling down the hill again," confirmed Bateman. "So hopefully, all the adults can get the business stuff together - because all the creatives are on board."

Quizzed about what to expect from the film, the actor admitted "I don’t know".

"I learned a long time ago not to try to guess what Mitch Hurwitz will come up with. But it’ll be good, whatever it is," he added.

Arrested Development garnered several Emmy awards and a Golden Globe but was cancelled in its third season due to poor ratings. Interest in a film version was sparked due to a cult fanbase, strong DVD sales and interest from the TV show's cast.

Bateman will next be seen in the Will Smith superhero film Hancock and the political thriller State of Play.

Yeah, they're going to ask some different actors to play the characters.

This sort of smells like Cera humour, where he bleep with people and you never really know where you stand. He might know everything, or maybe he's telling the truth. Obviously they'll be asking him to come back for the movie as they will with David Cross, I guess everything is in such early stages and there's possibly an assumption that all of the main cast will want to be involved.

cera and cross are a big reason why the show was so good. without them I don't think I would of been a fan of the show.

Cera
Cross
Arnett

are the 3 reason why the show was what it was....not to mention buster, michael, lucile, lindsey, george, Maeby.........................................FRANKLIN

Without every original cast member there is no movie in my opinion.

I think them not hearing anything official is just because nothing is official. I'm 100% sure that when (if) everything gets official, Cera, Cross, and everyone else will be notified and on board.

Nothing new...

First, to Arrested Development: The Movie, which would give the show the send-off it deserves. Jason Bateman has mentioned the possibility several times in the past and last we heard the show’s creator Mitch Hurwitz was actively pursuing it. So, what has Cera heard about the possible big-screen bow of the Bluths?

“I’ve heard that they want to do it, and I know Jason really wants to do it. I think it’s definitely possible, but there’s no script or anything,” he said. “Hopefully it’ll have a kinder fate than the show, and that people who don’t know the show would see it.”

New-ish article with Will Arnett:

http://radaronline.com/from-the-magazine/2008/03/will_arnett_arrested_%20development_amy_poehler_01.php

Good article tho!

For all you movie-lovers, here's a bit:

Q: Both of them [Cera and Tambor] have alluded to talks about an Arrested Development movie. Is that still going on? Is that realistic?

A: Talks are ongoing. Talks, it should be noted, are informal, out-of-the-blue phone calls between the cast and Mitch. Like, a month ago, I had dinner with David [Cross] and Jason [Bateman] in L.A. and we were kinda talking about it. Then Jason and I each called Mitch the next day. I think it's something that all of us would really like to do because it would be so fun to get back together and play those characters. But there are a lot of little details that have to be resolved, like who would make it, where, how, and why.

According to my profile, I haven't posted here in 180 days. News of a prospective ad film has brought be me back into the fold. I haven't even watched the show in so long, my knowledge of ad references has gotten rusty. I let someone borrow seasons 2 & 3. I should get them back, I run a pretty tight ship around here!

It's a gaming ship.

^^ Well it sounds good, but they got Mitch's name wrong.
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words- "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
