AAAAAAAA!!!!!! wowowowowow! PLEASE PLEASE LET THIS WORK i want this to happen so much!!! this is great news, i never thought i woud say this, if this is what the WGA strike brings, thank god for the WGA strike, i sympathize heavily with the WGA, but if an arrested movies gonna get started when the strike is over, i say they SHOULD settle for 5th choice in the negotiations, lol. when i heard the audio clip posed just above this post, i literally started jumping up and down in my chair, sitting alone in my dorm room. wow, im so excited by this potential news i honestly cant think of an arrested line to say that would be funny, so i will just say this:
Ron Howard: "maybe a movie?"

after i wrote the ron howard line, i did calm down a bit, and came up with the 5th choice line, and added it at the begining of the clip

This would be the happiest moment OceanWalker32 would ever experience in his life.

I think I'm going to be kissing a lot of people on the bleep in the next year or so.

"Arrested Development Movie in Development!
Source: E! Online
February 2, 2008

Kristen at E! Online was told by Jason Bateman that "the creative minds behind 'Arrested Development' (Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard) have put the wheels in motion toward a major motion picture of the Fox TV comedy so many of us adore. I'm told by insiders that Jason and other Bluth family members have received calls from producers (Hurwitz and Howard) asking if they would be willing to shoot a movie."

"I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started," Bateman said. "Any talk is targeting a poststrike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."

She adds that other cast members were called and that everyone seems to be very much on board and excited by the prospect."

I gotta say, I didn't think it was going to happen, and I was very wrong. Kudos to you for not giving up the fight.

EDIT: vcalzone already added this to the front page... he's fast!

E!'s Kristin also confirms movie talks with Jason Bateman.

I like how he refers to Mitch as "our leader".
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words- "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

After the Showtime shenanigans, I'm not believing anything. Not having any of it.

I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am.

^Me too. I mean, hopes are up, but until I actually hear the strumming, I won't believe it.

*sitting in the cinema* Nope, no. I'm stil not convinced.

If any production is going to be stopped just before the trailers start, it's this one.
