#218: Righteous Brothers

Why, Tracy? Why?

Postby dslam » April 13th, 2005, 1:36 am

I keep seeing an avatar on a site I go to where Buster has Franklin on his hand (his new hand replacement!) and text pops up saying something along the lines of "no beeyotch i dont want to go to your stupid country club" but I can't remember seeing it in any episode. The episode a few back where they introduce Franklin is the same one where they do the flashback to the 1st intervention. Can anyone help me out here? Is this in #18??
I am e-carding everyone I know to get them to sign getarrested.com!

Franklin (on Buster's hand) says "I ain't going to your tired ass country club, ya freak bitch!" in the "On the next..." portion of Meet the Veals.
Yeah, like anyone would want to "R" her.

Yeah, and it's one of the funniest moments ever in AD in my opinion. Ignore the puppet and just watch Hale as he voices it. Hysterical.
G.O.B.: Michael, if I make this comeback, I’ll buy you a hundred George Michaels that you can teach to drive.

Michael: You’re losing blood, aren’t you?

G.O.B.: Probably. My socks are wet.

Tony Hale has such awesome facial expressions.
Favorite three:
-Freak Bitch in Meet the Veals
-When Gob says "Would somebody please tell this insufferable child... to... God!" in Best Man for the Gob Buster's face Priceless.
-Another Meet the Veals moments. When Oscar tells him to tell Lucille how his father hasn't shown up yet. Oscar says, "Or is he?" Lucille rolls her eyes, Oscar rolls his, then Buster. Beautiful!

Agreed on the oscar/buster eye roll. Is this common to include something in the "On the next.." and not have it appear in the episode? I don't remember that scene appearing in "Spring Breakout".

"They're laughing michael!"

Yeah, there's only been one or two times where the on the next arrested appears in the netx episode. It's usually just a last gag, but it all takes place in continuity. ie Buster getting his hand bit off.

Yo, any ideas if Gob has his fingers back? As funny as that was, I sure hope the man has his digits properly stitched back. He's a magician, he make's a living with those hands.

When you watch the clip at getarrested.com
you can see on Gob's hand that his first two fingers have flesh-colored bandages all around them. So maybe they'll refrence the finger-switching in this episode. You really have to look for them.
