Dallas, TX/// DFW Area

Postby MrsGOB » April 20th, 2005, 3:13 pm

Hello! I am a brand new fan in Dallas TX.

Thanks very much to agwxguy, because he let me borrow season 1 two weeks ago, and then I downloaded all of season two in time to get caught up for the season finale!!

Just wondering if anyone else here is in the DFW area.

I know we have at least one other poster in the DFW area, although I'm not sure I've seen him on the boards just lately.

P.S. Welcome! And, coincidentally, last Sunday I met your friend who loaned you the S1 DVDs.

My girlfriend and I live in Dallas, the Uptown area. Both AD fans.
George Michael, I’m sure that Egg is a very nice person. I just don’t want you spending all your money getting her all glittered up for Easter, you know?

Kiarnit -- thanks for the welcome! Isn't Chris cool, and totally a george michael clone??? Did he happen to do the chicken dance at the viewing party? he said he would :)

Maddas -- i'm in the north dallas area, too. I'm sending season 1 back to my friend, because I just ordered it for myself!!! woohoo!

Christopher Michael seemed a little too George Michael-ish to start chicken dancing. He did happen to mention how much he liked the way the French think though.

No, he didn't do the chicken dance, but he's a doll. I must say, he looked very natural in the George-Michael shirt. Anyone who has the patience to teach high school is aces in my book.

Oops! I completely forgot to do the chicken dance, but since everyone seemed to think I'm like George Michael (I don't know what gave them that idea!) I think it would've been wrong for me to break out into the chicken dance. That is, of course, unless George Michael does it sometime then I will take notes of GM's version of it and make sure everyone sees it.

darn you Christopher Michael!! haha

I'm gonna get it outta you on june 3rd -- watch out!

Do y'all think GM will EVER do the chicken dance? I have my doubts, it just doesn't seem like it's in him.

I don't think he'll do it, but I'd sure love to see his version of it. It would be awkward for sure.
