But, then again, I could be reading too much into it since I've been watching A.D. to put off studying for finals. I'm redirecting my brain power.

Yeah my english teacher thought the same thing, high-five for intellect.

Makes sense, since Tony Wonder had been talking about referencing Poe in his video.

I haven't seen anyone mention this in this thread, and considering that it's 27 pages, if it were, I apologize.

My favorite moment from the finale was when GOB takes Franklin out of the dryer and realizes that he bleached him. When GOB does Franklin saying "Oh no, GOB, you've ruined the act!" he does it in a British accent, an obvious voice transformation to the now lilly white Franklin.

Just pure brilliance.

THUS ENDETH THE DEBATE

Postby Fun with Probate » June 16th, 2005, 3:44 pm

From today's New York Post interview with Jeffrey Tambor (I've given the link to the whole article, but here's the important part):

The comedy did score good numbers with some advertisers and, to the shock and delight of fans, will be back for a third season this fall.

In the finale, Tambor's George Sr. was last seen impersonating his brother, Oscar, and running off to join the Blue Man Group stage show.

"I actually got a letter from the Blue Man Group saying I did a good job," he says. "I was so honored."

So it was Jeffrey Tambor as George, Sr. and NOT JOHN LARROQUETTE.

That still hasn't been settled yet? Hmm.

I love that part with Franklin. My friend quotes it back to me a lot and it makes me giggle. But I seem to recall someone already mentioning that and calling it a subtle Michael Jackson reference... or maybe that was just me.

And Her? (great name by the way) that's amazing how you caught that allusion. I love how the writers plant little easter eggs for us to find and then make us feel smart when we uncover them. : D

This is probably my favorite episode ever. I remember watching and not taking any of the 22 minutes for granted because I knew it could be the series finale. I remember being devastated when the episode ended and then born anew when the show was picked up in mid May.
He said some wonderful things.

Oh totally! I felt like such a loser when I cried into my pillow after watching the episode. At least there's someone else who acknowledges the family's love for one another despite their crazy behavior. I loved this episode because it revealed Gob and George and almost all the rest of the characters as humans and not as cold, self-centered morons. I was actually quite moved when George pulled up to Oscar in the staircar and offered to turn himself in so the family would be safe. Then of course it was all for naught...which was funny, but to a certain degree I was like "Aww, I actually thought he had a heart for a moment."

And I think the other reason I reacted the way I did was because I truly thought it was the end. But now I can relax knowing it's just the ending of another chapter in the saga.

Plus I'm an emotional sap.

favourite episode ever..... i guess since they were sort of tying up a lot of strings, just in case, everything fits nicely in this one. however, at the same time, theres a lot of room for a wonderfully fantastic third season (the model home needs to be fixed, maeby and GM's romance - damn, and even tobias kitty and lindsay triangle)

best moment, loved when GOB and michael were talking about Franklin Comes Alive in Michaels office. How sweet was that entire scene. lol. i cant believe Michael said I love it so much. hehe. and of course, GOB singing Everything I do... super. I thought GM's little nervous moment when maeby asked him about Dangerous Cousins was pricelss too. that Michael Cera is so good. its funny how GOB didnt kiss his dad or Michael but made them kiss him instead... :P

this story may be about a disfunctional family, but we see in this episode that the Bluth's for all their insane behaviour, is bound together somehow by strong love for one another... awesome. I love this episode best.

Not to mention that Oscar is in prison. Somehow I don't think he'll be having the time of his life.

Did anyone ever solve the mystery of what song plays over the "On the next season of...?" I looked around, and couldn't find anything.
