george sr: gilligan says we should be putting our money into these I.R.A.'s
Ira gilligan: for the last time sir, it's IRA!

I love Tobias's line in this episode after they finish the Teamocil song.

"You're out of the band."

This was a lot of fun:
Tobias: I want to reunite the band.
Michael: Oh no.
Narrator: Oh no was right.

and the way the scene just hangs for that extra second here:
Michael: Why dont' you tell her yourself?
Tobias (naked): oh well, she doesn't take me seriously.

pause...hang...genius.
GOB: Wow, it won't be easy to win a race against myself. Of course, if anyone can do it, I can.

I love the part where Tobias eats something on the platter and throws up right after he eats it. That part made me remember the time when I went to my sister's graduation and saw this guy who didn't look so good. It was a very hot day and he was dranking a cup of water, but quickly threw up after he put the water in his mouth. It was HILARIOUS! The expression on his face was just priceless. I was laughing like crazy for some reason. I know, it doesn't sound all that funny, probably sad. But you had to be there to get how funny it was.

Well, we weren't there. So we don't find it funny. Some stand up comic used that and I just had to say it. I'm sorry.

There I go apologizing again...

Some of my favorite parts of the episode:

- "Oh I would but she just doesn't take me seriously." (pause)

- "Gilligan says this money will be put in I.R.A.'s." "It's Ira, sir." "Oh, I'm sorry, Gilligan. They'll be put in Iras."

- "It's Ira, sir. Please call me Ir-- <runs into George sr.>" "Gilligan!"

- "Excuse me, Dr. Funky?"

- "<upon hearing the cowbell> WHAT IS THAT NOISE?!"

- Flashcut to the TWP chart

- "Let's take it from loose stools!"

- "How would you like to go on a fishing trip?" "Why? What did I do?!"

- "Can you do this alone? Because if you don't perform, we don't validate." <Ominous music plays>

- "Under his father's helpful gaze...and with the aid of some helpful gays."

- "I'm calling the cops." "We're changing again, guys."

- "I'm not drunk! Bix made me the designated driver!" "BIX!"

- "I'm in love with your brother..." "What?! You did it again, you son of a bitch!" "...In-law. Tobias. Sorry, I should've finished that thought."

:D It's a WONDERFUL episode! :D
"Why can't you be more like your brother? Harold would never beat up his landlord."

I love the deleted scene where Tobias is performing solo, then a guy in a magnetic suit walks by which attracts the tambourine. And Tobias' response is simply "OK, thank you. Well..."

I don't know why, but this is my favorite episode of season one. At least for right now. I keep watching it over and over. Everything about this one is great. I love the scenes between Michael and George Michael. I love how neither of them really wants to go fishing, but they both pretend they're excited. And I love GOB's bachelor party. "I can handle a back room. I'm calling the cops." And then the end where GOB and Michael are getting along and then Wife of GOB comes. Poor Michael.
George Michael: Maybe it was the other George Michael, you know the singer/songwriter.

Michael: Yeah, that makes sense.

This is definitely one of my favourites of the season, maybe my favourite. I think the best bit in it are GOB's sweaters. I guess it's supposed to be because he got married. Those sweaters are outrageous.

LOL didn't he wear a bright orange one to the prison when he visited his dad at one point? I remember it, but sometimes I remember things that I think shows should have done, as if they've actually happened. Doubt that would happen with AD, though; the writers are much too good for that.

I think he wears the bright pink one to prison. Let me see...

The pink one (aha, I was right):

LOL douchechill.com, that's priceless - but hey! Bright pink, that's right! Well I guess that's just as awkward in prison as inmate-orange would be. Thanks solojones :)

No problem. I vividly remembered the pink sweater.

Yeah and I'm not sure why all the pictures for the-op are hosted at douchechill.com, but it's funny ;)
