This episode has been pre-empted due to President Bush's speech on Tuesday, which caused '24' to be broadcast in AD's timeslot on 4/18. FOX promises to reschedule, but not before the finale on 4/25.

How much did I love this ep? I'd give every last one of the 13 dollars I have just to see it again.

I honestly can't think of a favorite bit, but at the moment, I'm still loving mini-Maeby giving advice to Tobias's patient, complete with family "singing" photo.

I think this ep was an awesome way to end (this) season, if we couldn't get "Let them Eat Cake."

Buster and Annyong make me giggle--from "the juice box hit" to the hallroom fight, these two have had me rolling the past few eps.

Watching Buster mow down those kids was priceless.

And I don't have enough time to write how genius the "Take my daughter to work" Day jokes were. Just when you thought it was over, it just got even better.

Here's hoping that this isn't the last new show we get to see! FOX, make "Let them eat cake" the season premiere for SEASON TWO!

I think George Michael was one of the funniest part of this episode. I was rolling when he asked his dad about "sanitary napkins" in front of the whole boardroom.

Does anyone know if it is possible for Micheal Sera to get an Emmy nod? Do they give them to children/teenagers. I saw a list of winners, but none of them were kids, not the name I recognised.

Of course, NO TOUCHING is still a great line, even from one of our daughers.

I just watched this ep again (I know, June 6 is not THAT far away, but I still need my fix) and I have to say that it's one of the most packed-with-laughs half hours of television I can remember. Actually, the only ones that come to mind as being as good are...other AD eps!

I love all the dialogue, but am also tickled by the great interaction between Michael/Maeby and G.O.B/George Michael. It was sorta new to see that, and, of course, it worked out great!

Can't wait for "Let them eat cake!"

"Three guys going to the mall. What could be more butch than that?"
GOB: Wow, it won't be easy to win a race against myself. Of course, if anyone can do it, I can.

this is quickly becoming one of my favorite episodes. the whole "sanitary napkins" and George Michael thing and the whole idea of Lindsay finding it less shameful to lie about stealing than having a job as a salesgirl.

and let's not forget this famous conversation:

George Michael: You know, I make these jokes about being a daughter for my dad, and I know I’m a man. It’s his insecurity, not mine.
G.O.B.: There’s no security at that store. That’s how she was able to shoplift. Probably don’t even have a regular security guard.
Tobias: Well, of course I could get a job as a security guard. I mean, if I have to have a job to impress my daughter. If she needs something that butch.
George Michael: Yeah, I can hang out with my uncles. I mean, three men. What’s butcher than that?
G.O.B.: I’m going to the mall.
Tobias: Me, too.
George Michael: Yeah, maybe a new pair of shoes will cheer me up.

I love this ep so much...I love the way the stoires all inter-twine so well in this episode...and the fact Lindsay thinks it's better to steal than work as a sales-girl is classic...as is the scene where Tobias jumps on Lindsay with cat-like agility! The episode as a whole was just awesome!

This episode is in my top 5, definately. Any time I'm feeling depressed, I watch this episode. I think Bring Your Daughter to Work Day is one of the best running gags I have ever seen.
Surely Fünke, rolling 4 treasurer. I would run 4 it, but I can’t.

I love Lindsay's justification for stealing: "Well, they expect a certain amount of theft, Michael. It's built into the price. If I didn't take it, then people would be overpaying for nothing."

But my favorite quote would have to be:
Phone rings.
Michael: Hello. Oh, hey, George Michael. Uh, I'm sorry, in your pants? I'll be right there. Um, my son has an emergency.

Detective Fellows: You know, there's a Grover book: I Can't Hold It In. Worked for us.

...and Maeby jumping out of the car! I love how the second time you don't even see her jump out, but she's covered in leaves.. good stuff

I just rewatched this episode and let them eat cake last night. Hilarious episode. Maeby trying to escape out of the moving staircar. "Who knew you were such a good little climber?" I also loved the George Michael being the daughter thing. " I’m a good little girl. (Curtsies.)" Plus, the mice and shoplifting. Great episode.

This ep is hi-larious. One of my favourite GOB lines from this one comes after he learns Lindsay didn't shoplift, but actually worked at the store, and he says "A sales girl! I knew it! I knew you couldn't pull it off. There is only one magician in this family, and that is me." LOL the way he says 'me', it's a kind of sneer, I guess? Hard to explain, but it's his voice rather than the words that get me. There's no audio on the site though :( I'll have to wait till I'm home from work to hear it again.
A comet, of course, is a frozen body of ice and dust formed 4.6 billion years ago. Or created 6000 years ago, depending on whether or not you're wrong.
