There are shows other than Arrested Development? Really?

Amazing, amazing, amazing show. Larry David is a genius.

I can't wait for the season 4 DVD at the end of the month. Not having HBO (Canadian) and not being coordinated enough to tape on The Movie Network (Canadian), I haven't seen it. All I know is that Larry is in the Producers, which is pretty much the funniest idea I've ever heard.
Maybe you could start jeté-ing, and stop je-terrorizing me.

I've seen some of it and I like it, but I know I should watch it more regularly to really get it. I really want to see some of The Producers stuff because I love that show. I saw it in London with Nathan Lane. I would love to see the final episode of that season.
I've switched usernames and am now 'Goofeth', so don't get confused.

I really like this show, but I've been living off of the DVDs because I don't get HBO  I think it's incredibly funny, there is some great adlibbing in it, I must say. Whenever I go over to my friend's house, we always try to watch a little Curb.

Larry is in the producers?

i really like curb your enthusiasm. i watch the dvds when my bro comes over. or i go see him, whichever.

the show is funny and it makes you uncomfortable. that's art. jeff and cheryl are awesome. too bad we don't see enough of jeff's wife. she's so funny, so much energy.
GOB: Wow, it won't be easy to win a race against myself. Of course, if anyone can do it, I can.

Excellent, excellent show. Larry David is nothing but quality.

I love when an angry family acuses Larry David of being a Bounty Hunter.

I hope Krazy Eyez (Chris Williams) returns next season. Him and Larry together make like the ultimate comedic odd couple. Larry helping him revise a rap song is classic.

Krazy Eyez Killa

Postby SteveHolt! » August 21st, 2005, 11:32 pm

Krazy Eyez is the best foil for Larry on this show. His episode is probably the highlight of the series. From the opening scenes with Larry
popping the bubbles during the party
to his
hacking while trying to dislodge his wife's pubic hair during the shooting of a scene for a Scorcese picture
, the whole tone and presentation is perfect. I could watch Larry David get indignant with a shop store clerk for hours.

Didn't dig Season 4 so much, thought it was too well-thought out. Some really funny moments, but Larry
seemed too much of a bad guy
by the end of it. Can't wait for the fifth season, though, and see where they're going with this mess of a person.

My caucasians,

Seems like a good lot of you here enjoy the show. That's what I like to see.

I myself lean towards season 2 because of the particular connection to my all-time favorite, Seinfeld. I loved seeing Jason and especially Julia all throughout the season. Not to mention classic episodes such as 'The Doll' and 'Trick Or Treat.'

I love all seasons pretty equally though. Honestly not a bad episode in my opinion. I'd like to hear more talk around the water cooler about Curb and less about Scrubs and The Office (no offense to either shows).

Season 4 DVD release right around the corner on Aug. 30th. Season 5 premiering shortly after on Sep. 25th, Sun. 10PM

I'm with SteveHolt! -- I actually thought Season 4 was barely tolerable, whereas the first three seasons were genius.

But perhaps that's because it was on after season 1 of Arrested Development, and how can you compete with that?

I've considered that same fact for the explination as to why I didn't enjoy season 4 of Curb as much as the previous three. Still enjoyed it though; Larry's interaction and activities with the blind pianist had to be one of my favorite aspects of season 4 ("I don't even know what red is..."). I'll second the The Car Pool lane suggestion. Its got to be one of the funniest episodes from any season.

The ending of "The Doll" is one of the times in my life where I've absolutely laughed the hardest. By far one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Also, "Trick or Treat" is an amazing episode. The whole bald speech, describing the Elvira hair to the police officers... "Trick or treat, BANG BANG!" is still a catphrase commonly used around my house.

Sad to hear that everyone is poo-pooing on season 4. I actualy had heard it was good. Just the idea of Larry being in the Producers seemed funny enough to me. Does it really not compare? Either way, I'm buying it at the end of the month!

i will never forget this moment from the second season:
LD: at least i don't go around saying that my grandfather invented the cobb salad!
GOB: Wow, it won't be easy to win a race against myself. Of course, if anyone can do it, I can.
