I actually love all those episodes, but I like Good Grief the best for whatever reason. When I first got my dvds I couldn't stop watching The One Where Michael Leaves. And I love The One Where They Build a House because of Tom Jane saying, "I just want my kids back." I love all those epsiodes. I don't know why some other people feel differently.

Agreed. To be honest, I think my taste is very different than a lot of people on this sight, but maybe that's what makes AD special is that it appeals to lots of different types of humor. I think there are a lot of people that just started watching with Season 2 who are fans of the slapstick or sillier whackier humor. So for me, those middle episodes in Season 2, basically Disc 2, is a bit of a letdown. Everything else though is classic.

I started watching with season two, and after I saw all of season two, I bought season one. So I think I have a distorted view from everyone else. I enjoy the silly humor, but I think I prefer the more calm episodes because they don't get old. The only episode I could never get into was Ready, Aim, Marry Me. You're right, AD has some type of humor for everyone, if only everyone would watch.

Disk 2 of season two is my least favorite disk. Although it contains my favorite deleted scene where Barry goes to give Michael a high five after he says "we killed her, didn't we?" about his wife.
George Michael: Maybe it was the other George Michael, you know the singer/songwriter.

Michael: Yeah, that makes sense.

Ready, Aim, Marry Me is terrible. There's nothing smart"\ about a cripple who spits up mucas.

I agree, the calmer episodes last longer. Episodes that rely on shock value have less rewatchable.

The poll is for the top 5 rated episodes on the site. I do think Righteous Brothers deserves to be in the top 5.

Yeah, Disc 2 of Season 2 is by far the weakest disc. However, it has some of the best deleted scenes of the series on it.

Good Grief was the 1st full episode that I saw…and that's what hooked me to the show. Without seeing any previous episodes I was able to follow along just fine and I knew the show was something special. After buying the Season 1 & 2 DVDs and getting all the back stories - it's still the absolute funniest episode to me. I could watch it over & over.

I really like Afternoon Delight, and all the other episode for that matter, but it just doesn't get any better than Good Grief...

I'm really liking Sword of Destiny at the moment, but my favourite episode changes all the time.

Yeah Good Gried is *definately* at the top... But I also LOVE Staff Infection (from Season 1. Quick recap: Buster in copy machine room, Buster working at construction site "Candy ass!!!", GOB cocka cocka)

Essential episode....

But Good Grief. I only recently got the Snoopy references because I'm not familiar with that stuff but it's funny even without getting that...

and really, why aren't we giving credit to Amigos???
HOW FUNNY ARE BUSTER'S QUOTES???!

Annyong,

Like quite a few other people have said, I'd vote for "Righteous Brothers" if it were a choice (you know it's true...), but seeing as it's not, I'll go for "Pier Pressure", with "The Immaculate Election" a very close second. The drug delivery scene is pure comic genius.

Some choice quotes:
"I was gonna smoke the marijuana like a cigarette." (Michael Cera's delivery of the line is perfect).
"These are just strippers, look how hot they are!"
"I am not essing around!"
"What? Oh, no! It’s the cops! Oh! And a construction worker!"
"Well, he’s, uh, dead. You killed him when you left the door open with the air conditioner on."
"And that's why you don't teach lessons to your son!"

I'd also put "Afternoon Delight" and "Switch Hitter" up there amongst the best.

.... I like the Cut of your Jib, my friend.

..I'll always have a special affection for Afternoon Delight because it was the first episode I watched.

..I also love Switch Hitter as most of the people I know don't rate it, so I'm constantly arguing its merit.

I went with Meet The Veals, it is just full of hilarious moments. It was a tough choice though, because the other episodes are just fantastic aswell.

out of the choices given, i would choose the immaculate election.

however, I NEVER get sick of best man for the gob, let them eat cake, and sword of destiny.
Yeah, like anyone would want to "R" her.

Forget Me Now surely must be top-ten??

It is up there with the best from the first two seasons.
