I have a real bad feeling about that. A bad feeling as in "THIS BOARD HAS GONE TO HELL!!!" feeling.

It's fine as it is with the Klimpy's section, people just need to use it more often.

There are alot of good threads (idea's) in the white stripes chat room (whitestripes.net), like a art thread, photography thread, this thread,
http://littleroom.whitestripes.net/index.php?showtopic=48168, comedians (your favourite?), "Last gig, next gig, best gig", What Book Are You Reading Now?, and many more.

A games section sounds like fun. And I really like the idea for a book club, even though I'd probably end up being too busy to do it myself. A "what are you reading now" thread might work, though. I'd be wary to tell a lot of other people about the-op. Thinking of other forum experiences, I'm just worried it would turn into a bunch of people who say things like "t3h roxxors!!!11@!!" and can't spell. But that's probably me just being paranoid because I love the-op so much. I feel like I'm rambling.
George Michael: Maybe it was the other George Michael, you know the singer/songwriter.

Michael: Yeah, that makes sense.

I think one thing we really need to do with this site is update the main page. Right now, if a new visitor comes and sees it, they are left thinking that the site was undisturbed since the finale. They may get turned away before they ever check out this amazing talk area.

My thoughts: First, we should put a new visitors link right there at the top of the page. Perhaps it goes to a standing page that gives an overview of the show, and an overview of what this show is about. Perhaps some of the regulars here in the OP can give testimonials to explain why, if they are die-hard fans of the show, that this is the place they want to be.

Second: To make it look even more timely, perhaps get some of the regulars to submit articles/fan fiction/musings/rumors/news/etc. related to the show, and feature one each month or so on the main page. Again, there's probably a lot of people here who'd love to contribute, and it gives the site a more current and lively feel.

That's just my one-fiftieth of a dollar.

That's probably true. Any visitor to the site would definitely think it was dead. Not to mention that the Save Our Bluths section just gives false hope of reviving the series by now. I dunno how we could arrange for multiple people to update the main page, but it is definitely a good idea. Lots of people here have made AD-inspired material, and there's not really a place to showcase that.

We would need to have a point person - an editor, if you will - who solicits the information and sets up deadlines for the material. It'd be tricky, since he or she'd have to rely on people who aren't beholden to meeting that deadline. But I think there'd be enough interest here to keep things alive, even if someone drops the ball once in awhile.

Even if it's silly stuff, like favorite AD recipes or drinking games you can play (Every time they say "Her?"), I think it's essential to the survival of this site.

That, and the continued appearance of tehMick, of course.

TWoP just introduced thier Rec room and it seems to be flourishing. I think a games devoted forum would be kablamo.

I love the survival games over at TWoP, and the episode ranking tournament we had here was super fun if not intensely emotional at times.

A small piece of me died the day 'The Cabin Show' was voted out early.

I like the idea of featuring articles relating to the show. I would be willing to contribute to something of that nature.

Also, subforums for the "creative arts" would be pretty cool as well, wether its for art, or music or photography or writing, I don't know.

I suspect we have some pretty creative people here, and it would be neat to have a forum to showcase those talents.

Yeah the front page really needs to be changed. The amount of people who don't even know the show isn't coming back is insane, and 'The Last Huzzah?' kinda gives false hope.
