The Black Donnellys

There are shows other than Arrested Development? Really?

The Black Donnellys

So? Anyone watch this?

I thought the first half of the pilot was really tough to follow--we met so many similar characters and were kind of just thrown into the mix. I thought my head was gonna explode.

The second half, thankfully, was much easier to follow, and I really got into it. While it's tough for me to believe that
Tommy would "take over" the whole neighborhood after killing a mob boss (I tend to think that he'd be a marked man and someone from inside the mob would step up)
I'm willing to give it a while, because I think this show could be really good. I'm definitely interested in seeing where it goes from here.

Ya, I didn't think I would like it as much as I did.

I really liked the unreliable narrator. Ice Cream-what's-his-face.

Should be interesting...

But what of Studio 60?

We'll have to see about Studio 60. But hey, if Six Degrees can get another chance, then there's hope for you yet.

I like the concept of an unreliable narrator, but Joey Ice Cream as a character kind of annoys me.

I think that now that the show's done with all that piloty stuff, we'll be able to get a better sense of the show's tone and pace, and then I'll be able to decide if I truly like it.

Steadily improving, and not just because of partial nudity on Tommy's part... has anyone else been watching?
