The 'complete series' pack on Amazon also lives at the top of Fox TV DVD sales:

Woh, that'd be cool 8)

Maybe take it a step further?

'Hmm a movie, it's been done before. But I hear DVDs/Online Streaming is popular?"

Something self referential, referring to the show's continuing popularity, through online streaming, for instance :) .

It's funny to me (in a "that's karma, for you" sort of way) that the three top selling fox DVD's are all shows that were cancelled (AD, Firefly and Futurama).

One can only hope that somewhere in FOX Headquarters there's a executive crying over the awful programming decisions the company's made.

More likely, though, they're saying to each other, "Hey! isn't it awesome that we can do coke while working!!!"

Doesn't it strike you as mildly ironic, that most of the people who are against abortion, are the peope who you wouldnt want to bleep in the first place

That was possible the strangest article I've ever read. So... disjointed... but still, things sound hopeful.
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words- "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

That sounded very specific...

The quotes are cheating because, if I recall The Times article correctly (which I do), the 'they're making a movie' line was not in quotes - e.g. Jason wasn't quoted saying it. But I love a 'no smoke without fire' so I'm busy posting that link around the Internet (Imdb, Wikipedia, etc), anything that gets people talking is likely to help.

I've also just started working as a reporter on the UK's Daily Mail (everyone's favourite newspaper in Britain ) and I might try and mention this loudly in front of the Shobiz team, or just write it and file it if I dare!

Either way, I'm getting the cut-offs out in preparation!

Congratulations! I recall that my "uncle-father" (when I was an exchange student in England) would read that paper every morning with his coffee. Seemed to me like a solid, well-balanced newspaper.

Wait, or did he read the Daily Express? No, I'm pretty sure it was the Mail. There was definitely a Daily in the title. Is Daily Mirror still in the mix?

Sorry your dreams of writing for the Sunday Sport went unfulfilled. wink.

I had heard from a cast member (not allowed to say who) in November that they were still holding out hope for a movie and that as far as they knew, there were still discussions amongst the creative folk about it. Personally I'm hopeful but naturally holding back that hope, too.

The thing is, this entire year is pretty much a wash as far as productions go. I worked at WB in the fall during the strike and I can tell you pretty much all scripts were rushed forward before the Writer's Strike, then all filming was rushed into between Jan-Jun because of fear of an Actor's Strike (which could be on the verge of happening). So there was no way this was getting done this year. Also, I predict the overall quality of movies that'll be released next year won't be great because so many of them will have been rushed.

So I think we need to wait until all the smoke from the strikes has cleared to really hear if there's still a possibility of this happening. Because this year there was no way it could have gone forward.
"What a great day... for being sad."
