Arresting Developments on Arrested Development Movie
What This Means For Your Weekend

There's still no official word of any kind, but things are looking good for the Bluths to return on the big screen!

Kristen from E! Online confirms with Jason Bateman that talks are in place:
Kristen at E! Online was told by Jason Bateman that "the creative minds behind 'Arrested Development' (Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard) have put the wheels in motion toward a major motion picture of the Fox TV comedy so many of us adore. I'm told by insiders that Jason and other Bluth family members have received calls from producers (Hurwitz and Howard) asking if they would be willing to shoot a movie."

"I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started," Bateman said. "Any talk is targeting a poststrike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."

And this news was confirmed by Jeffrey Tambor, who said that Ron Howard had contacted him and said they were looking to make the movie happen. The show's legacy and fan following has only increased after its cancellation, the show's stars have established themselves on multiple projects after the show, and Hollywood is currently in love with movies about TV shows, so the prospects for this to take place just look better and better!
"You just had a glue OD, and those are pretty regular in my life. So here's another lesson: don't huff too much glue, or your night sucks."

news is getting around, and there's a lot of buzz.

My (completely uneducated) guess is that the success of Juno doesn't hurt the prospects for an AD movie. Even if Michael Cera didn't get a nomination for an Oscar.

I have a lot more hope about the prospects of a movie now than I've ever had.

This is cool!

If they make this thing, I might have a nice hard cot for someone to sleep on.

I would cry, but I don't think I can spare the moisture.
I don't understand the question and I refuse to answer it.

Hey, what a great idea for a Hugh Grant/ Julia Roberts-type movie.

I'm just so happy that the-op is back online!

I know Rocky and I know AD, but unfortunately I have no idea what you're talking about. if it;s one of the last few episodes, I haven't seen it. Hulu (my only way to watch Seasons 2 and 3) skips an episode and I refuse to go past it. I'm waiting 'till I can afford both seasons I lack. I may just go ahead and buy the three pack when I can afford it.

Anyways, to slightly answer your question, the song would either be "Gonna Fly Now" composed by Bill Conti, or "Eye of The Tiger" by Survivor. Not likely to be any of the other songs featured on Rocky.

The song you're looking for is 'Balls in the Air' from the episode 'Notapussy' I'm guessing. Its not a song from Rocky, its an original David Schwartz one, but is meant to be a parody of Rocky's music

Fantastic news. I was on wikipedia looking to see what upcoming movies Will Arnett was going to be in. When I say Arrested Development I flipped.
