I love that they have a quote of approval from a fictional character.

Pineapple Express Holy bleep is this good. It's probably the funniest of the Apatow produced movies, which is saying a lot, and it's easily the best directed. I was suprised that it's more of a Seth Rogen movie that David Gordon Green directed (as opposed to a David Gordon Green movie that Seth Rogen's in, though I hope that happens some day), but there's still a lot of Greenisms and a couple shout-outs to his other movies. It's not just a funny movie though, it's also a great action movie, and I think it's probably Seth Rogen's best performance (very underrated as an actor, I think.) James Franco and Danny McBride and everyone else is very good too. I can't wait to see it again.

This was such a awesome cartoon show. Just reminds me how bad kids TV is these days (except SpongeBob).

I just sold most of my Batman comic collection from this era on eBay. Decided the market was hot right now and we've been on a mad house cleaning kick (yard sale last Saturday, trip to Goodwill on Sunday). The guy who bought them got a great deal... but I got a hunnert bucks to buy more crap to fill my house.

Still got a few more Batman comics to sell... including the first several based on the cartoon you referenced.

Anyway, here's another poster in the growing list of greatest movies of all time we are compiling.

I'm seeing Pineapple Express tonight, and I feel like I've been waiting years for this movie to come out!
Also I'm sure my friend and I will prepare for the movie in our own special way in the parking lot
It is believed that AIDS was originally contracted from the monkeys, no not the band, but the animal. And we just wanted to deal with that issue. Just changing the attitude from 'eww AIDSy' to make it like 'ahh fun monkey disease'

Pineapple Express - Lots of laughs and some awesome action as well. The final scene kinda annoyed me, but aside from that, it was great.
9/10

Pineapple Express: It was very good, I'd say it's about on par with Forgetting Sarah Marshall for the best Apatow-produced movie. I hadn't set my expectations ridiculously high, so I really enjoyed it. I thought it was an amazing job of blending a stoner movie with a lot of action movie clichés, while still having really good action.

The Wackness - One of the best films I've seen so far this year, that's all I can say.

Little Murders I watched it tonight and it's insane and brilliant. Alan Arkin directed it, Elliot Gould produced and stars, and it was written by Jules Feiffer. It's obstensibly a comedy, abeit a dark one, but it's also incredibly depressing, almost equal measures hilarious and depressing I'd say. Even when it's funny, it's more an absurd laugh than anything else. I really, really like Gould in this period of his career (MAS*H, California Split, and The Long Goodbye are favorites), and I love Alan Arkin. It's definitely an uneasy movie to watch, and I questioned immediately after whether or not it's nihilism detracted from the film, but given a little time I've come to the conclusion that it's incredible.

Step Brothers - 5/10
No longer shall I be a Will Ferrell apologist.
I'm tired of this act.
With that being said, I will definitely continue to watch his upcoming movies.
I can't help it.

Tropic Thunder - 8/10
Probably the funniest movie I've seen this year.
RDJ and Cruise were great and the rest of the cast was good as well.
Stiller has a bright future as a director.

Pineapple Express - 6/10
Meh.
Some laugh out loud moments but dragged on too slow for my liking.
Still like Seth Rogan and I'm still high (no pun intended) on Apatow despite his latest 1-2 combo of Step Brothers and Pineapple Express.

Doomsday - It's not high art, but it's the most absurd and just plain fun film I've seen this year.

Death Race-Kind of a film that could go either way. The dialouge was horrible and the plot was ridiculous but the race scenes were very fun and exciting. Since it had a guy named Machine Gun Joe I'm going to give it a 7/10.
