Curb Your Enthusiasm

There are shows other than Arrested Development? Really?

I'd have to agree with Lick on the Oasis front. I'd suggest LD's more like a Damon Albarn if the metaphor is pushed. Had his most commercial success long ago (not true for Damon, but that's the perception), but what he's still doing is brilliant, probably the best work of his career. Although Damon has got less famous personally, whereas LD is the opposite. Actually it's a poor metaphor and I'd like to withdraw it - maybe I'm just cheekily bashing Oasis.

Really enjoyed the run of Curb this season - the first I've watched on a week-by-week basis. A big improvement from season 5, with some monster episodes. Definitely a major mid-season dip, but the first few episodes alone justified the phrase 'return to form'. Not enough Jeff, and strange how sidelined Cheryl was - is there any particular reason for this? - but LD was great throughout, and Funkhauser was immense.
As always I am only thinking about training and coaching the team

This is complete rubbish. What a bleeping idiot.

Curb You Enthusiasm is the best show on tv at the moment, how can you not love Larry David? The man is a living legend. It's the only show that is as good as AD, in my opinion, and I know my stuff. Both of these masterpieces are followed closely by Trailer Park Boys.
Doesn't it strike you as mildly ironic, that most of the people who are against abortion, are the peope who you wouldnt want to bleep in the first place

I've never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I'm willing to assert that it's better than Arrested Development. That show is unwatchable.

Spidergirl doesn't know what she's saying.

Anyone watching the new season? I'm excited for the Seinfeld reunion stuff, which should be starting on this coming Sunday's episode. The premiere was OK (it seemed a bit stilted at times, though Catherine O'Hara was great and Larry's fake (?) faint was ridiculously funny), but the second episode was ... well, prettaaay prettaaay prettaaay good! I love a show that can make cancer and car accidents caused by fellatio seem hilarious. And I'm glad that Leon seems to be sticking around, as long as they don't overuse him. It'll be interesting what he might say to Michael Richards ...
