Did you notice - three out of the five noms for best writing went to AD - Sword of Destiny, Righteous Brothers and Sad Sack...

i still don't get desperarte housewives as a comedy nominee...

maybe if the cast of AD was replaced with all "smokin' hot chicks", the show would finally get some recognition :roll:

dude I'm sooooo bleep' happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my mom & me where watching FOX news and they showed AD and I screamed :lol:

but anywho they said the Emmys will air (which I'm dumb and thought it was at the begining of 06) September 18 & AD season 3 premieres September 19!!! oh universe u've done in again!!!!!

I'm bitter too about some of the noms forgotten names, but let's be happy for what we got!
Congratulations to everybody that is involved in AD, it's not every year that you see a show that does not have got ratings get 11 nominations for the Emmy.

Wonderful to see the show finally getting the recognition it deserves. Excellent! At least we know they'll be getting the uber expensive gift baskets, lol!

I was disappointed that Michael Cera didn't get nominated. It's interesting to note that Jeffrey Tambor was nominated for his role of George Bluth Sr. So apparently, they are that specific - and *in theory* he could have been nominated as both George and Oscar.

I was disappointed about this too especially since there has been lots of talk lately of Michael deserving a nomination. I really wasn't surprised he wasn't nominated...his age is very much against him. I am glad, though, that the show got as many noms as it did. Still fuming about DH's three lead actress nominations - that shouldn't be allowed!

11 official nominations, I beleive. Thats pretty impressive, but I am a little upset about the snubbing of Cera.

I've yet to see Michael Cera's name under the supporting actor in a comedy series heading on any of these sites so far.
I'm sure this is all just a misunderstanding.
