Arrested Development Coming to G4, HDNet, MSN
Not necessarily shows that one would associate with G4, the Comcast Corp.-owned network aimed at video-game enthusiasts with some tech heads thrown in, due to the network’s acquisition and integration of TechTV and its computer-related programming in 2004.

But G4 president Neal Tiles said the low-rated, critically acclaimed former Fox comedy — which will also be streamed on MSN.com and telecast on HDNet — is a perfect fit for G4’s demographics.

You did see the wink that immediately followed, right? Sorry if this ruined the witty banter, but I'd hate it if you missed that part.

It's never old. But yeah, it's been mentioned already.

However, I don't get G4. Or for that matter, Gs 1, 2 or 3. So as much as I'd love to support it, I just can't right now.

Am I correct in assuming this is not on the Canadian G4 Tech TV (despite the fact that I saw mike cera and alia shawkat promoting it on there)??

Reruns on G4

Postby duke33 » September 5th, 2006, 8:24 am

Looks like the network G4 picked up A/D, and the reruns started yesterday (from the pilot). I think it's at 11:30pm Eastern Time, at least from what i've seen.

Their AD site is pretty good--forum and all. I'm sorry, but Seinfeld @ 11:00 (on Fux) and Arrested @ 11:30 (on g4)--best comedy hour ever?

Looks like quite a few newbies are on that board. Might help to talk the show up, around the metaphorical watercooler, and get the AD name out there. Hopefully in the next few weeks AD will be beat them off.

I watched the pilot, and it was the first time I'd seen it in SD, enjoyable but weird. They cut the commercial transitions poorly, and the banners are annoying, and it's opposite The Colbert Report, but HUZZAH! It was cool seeing AD on tv again.

I watched bringing up buster. I laughed so fricken hard, for some reason watching A.D. on tv again is really funny. though at one point I realized it was G4 and I felt that A.D. deserves better..it felt dirty.
I got the information.

They also ran a little late with Star Trek when I watched, so they had an "Arrested Development Premiere" banner in the corner for like 10 minutes. Picard kept looking annoyned at that point on the screen, it was comical.
