NEWPORT BEACH (Episode 11)—Police are on the lookout for a magician who goes by the name of “Gob,” and they need your help.
During a magic performance at a local nursing home, Earl Milford, founder of the Milford School, mysteriously disappeared. Police believe a magician, known only as “Gob,” may have hidden the body in a tomb and buried it. Witnesses say they saw the man, dressed in a willowy shirt and sandals, flee the nursing home on a scooter.
Police believe that “Gob” may have broken into the local permit office posing as a whistling Courier Express delivery man. Investigators also believe that “Gob” may have paid off some dirty cops from Balboa’s Halt Illicit Trafficking division. The H.I.T. Cops may be allowing “Gob” to operate an illicit drug trade down at the piers. Police have also overheard chatter that may indicate that “Gob” will try to flee to Portgual.
Police urge local residents to be on the lookout for “Gob,” but should also be aware that he may be carrying false identification. If you witness any suspicious activity, call the CrimeStoppers Stop Crime Line immediately.
