Actually, in middle school, I only got a Jerry Lee in Science. But I always wanted that Elvis. My parents would’ve been so proud. Outstanding work, here. Easily deserving of a grade Daisy.
Elvis Remembered
On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley died in his sleep. 27 years later, his music is still remembered.
Though nowadays children recognize the figure only as a grade they receive in science class, Elvis Presley was at one time a huge rock star, eclipsing even the fame of Dr. Fünke’s 100% Natural Good-Time Family-Band Solution.
On the twenty-seventh anniversary of his passing, local residents remembered Elvis and their favorite song.

You know someone said that the world’s a stage
And each must play a part. Fate had me playing in love you as my sweet heart. Act one was when we met, I loved you at first glance You read your line so cleverly and never missed a cue Then came act two, you seemed to change and you acted strange And why I’ll never know. -- Are You Lonesome Tonight? |
